| Hitch's stats: DOB July 30th, 2006. AKC, CKC registered. Blue speckle, PRA/ prcd B (carrier), Cerf clear. BAER normal, Hips OVC prelimed clear. Sire:AOM Am/Can CH DuWest Ride a Cowboy HIAsd, CKC HI, SDI, HRD 2, HSAc, HTD1, OTDsd, STDc, CGN, Dam: CH DuWest Northern Lights HSAs , CD , RA , ROM. Hitch was bred by Lori Pruett of DuWest Kennels. I picked up Hitch during a break from the Canadian ACD Nationals trial and herding clinic. It seems more than coincidence that I acquired him then because I purchased him with the plan for him to be my next ACD trial dog . At barely nine weeks he took it all in stride as he sat on my lap, riveted to the stock during the clinic. Both of Hitch's parents work stock so we see a bright future for our little man. Hitch continues to progress in his stock dog training. He achieved his retrieval proficiency test and is ready now to compete in frisbee trials , which is actually an understatement. Hitch loves to retrieve and if he can't entice me to a game of fetch will toss his ball or kong for hours to amuse himself. | ||||||||||

| Pending CKC confirmation, Hitch is now a CKC Champion thanks to a nice win at the Guelph KC show in Fergus April 2009. As you can see Hitch has matured into a nice looking boy. Now onto working towards the fun stuff, herding and frisbee. | ||||||||||
